The secure imputation service uses encryption to protect genotype datasets using public key encryption generated locally by the data owner. The data is encrypted at the client side once and is never decrypted at the server side. The private key should be kept confidential.

Secure imputation service does not use registrations or manage user accounts. The unique folder identifier is used by the server to keep track of the genotype data and also by the user to access the results. The folder identifier is simply a folder name on the cloud for the server to identify the user's dataset. It is not related to the user's identity. It is therefore important to keep track of the session identifier by recording it somewhere accessible so that previous sessions can be recalled.

To recall a folder id (and the data uploaded to it), click on "Recall Folder" button above and enter the folder identifier you wish to recall. Please note that only folders with uploaded data can be recalled. If you did not upload any data (or deleted the data of a folder), the folder does not exist and cannot be recalled.

For example, you can use "..." to recall the folder that stores data for the current session.
